Regarding the putting of the 360 into one's entertainment system:

There are rumors that setting the 360 on its side, horizontally, may damage game discs. The drives in some of the units are bad.

With its software products, Microsoft can simply issue a patch for download. I wonder how they are going to deal with the growing number of hardware issues with the 360.
