We know there are probably a
few people who wished they'd done this from day one, but OQO finally announced a new version of their model 01
ultrapersonal PC running Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. Specs are otherwise identical: 1Ghz Transmeta processor, 30GB
hard drive, 512MB of RAM, a 5-inch, 800 x 480 pixel display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB 2.0, and
FireWire.

Is the power supply still as big as an overweight ferret?

Put Linux on one of these and lower the price and I might ditch my Zaurus!

Good! I think it's insane that the original wasn't running Tablet PC Edition.

Finally something smaller than a full-size laptop/tablet and bigger than my 2.5" PocketPC screen! How's the keyboard? What bluetooth headsets/headphones will work with it?

The transmeta chip is clunky but you have to cut them a break for the form-factor. The keyboard is pretty good - my only gripe is that it's not backlit.
