Kyocera announces the KX21 Strobe QWERTY phone officially
Well, we can't say Kyocera's KX21 Strobe (not Switchback) messenger phone that we scooped last month is a pretty one, but it is now official, so at least the QWERTY phone has that going for it. It's a hefty 4 ounces and measures nearly an inch thick, but still doesn't pack EV-DO, so this is clearly just meant to get through those essential "lol u r 2 kewl" texting sessions between young highschool lovers this spring, with the phone to drop Q2 of 2006.

Why is everything targeted at 14 - 21 year olds always so curved and swoopy, virtually garunteeing (sp?) it won't fit well in any type of pocket or along side anything else produced in this normaly angular world ?
Did we used to think that was cool or something ?
