Shuoying don't limit themselves to copying Motorola phones, for this latest installment of "Keeping it real fake - Special CES Edition" they spread the counterfeit love to Nokia with a knock-off of the
Nokia 7260 called, um, the "7260". The rep working their booth just said, "They have the same name," as he grabbed the 7260 from the glass case it was in so we could snap a pic. In case you're wondering, the fake 7260 has the same tech specs as the fake E398: it's dual-band GSM/GPRS handset with a 2.0-inch LCD screen, a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, a TransFlash memory card slot, and MP3 and MPEG4 playback software.
They faked an already 2 year old phone from Nokia that has one of the worst designs in Nokia's recent history - and they paid to display it at CES?
hah!
Well, a number is just a number.
The casing looks like it's about to fall to bits to me.
On another CES-related note; how about a CES highlights post and a competition giving away some of all the great freebies you must have swiped whilst in Vegas?
Its higher spec'd than the real thing. Sweeeeet as.
