Is it Chinese? I wouldn't be surprised. According to my friend who is from China "MP4 Player" is a common term for MP3 Players/PMPs. Most knockoffs and brands from China use "MP4 Player" somewhere on their device.
I'm sure it's Chinese as they're the only ones that have figured out how to stuff 4 (or 5) MPs into a player. The rest of the world seems to be stuck with using only 3 MPs.
