TRENDnet unloads one more at CES: TEW-673GR Wireless N gigabit router
If you haven't seen enough of TRENDnet here at CES, you haven't been looking, but for those in need of a new wireless router, these choices are certainly sights for sore eyes. The latest entry from the company here in Vegas is the TEW-673GR 300Mbps Concurrent Dual-Band Wireless N Gigabit Router. Constructed with a dual-band Atheros chipset, the device can handle both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks simultaneously; essentially, this enables low-bandwidth clients to be assigned to the more congested 2.4GHz band while high-bandwidth, latency-sensitive applications (such as HD streaming and online gaming) head to the uncongested 5GHz band. Can't help you out on a price, but it should be filtering out in short order.

You orgasmed over a router?
Wipe it off when you're done with it.

Wow dude, if you jizz on a router you would probably find yourself right at home with beta male nerds like these guys, god they're pathetic.

Dude, STOP SPAMMING. You keep doing it after being repeatedly told not to! I hope engadget IP BANS you. Or have a system where, if you post the same link 3 times in a row, you get banned for 30s(IP BAN of course)

I bought a Trendnet router at a COMPUSA store closing sale. Piece of junk that lasted less than a year. Always dropping connections and a pain to set up. A router should be something you rarely service. Moved over to a d-link wireless N model and couldn't be happier. The trendnet wasn't worth the 30 bucks I paid for it.

Strange, I've had the exact opposite experience. In fact my Trendnet router is the wireless first router that I've been happy with after having poor experiences Linksys and D-link.

whoops, I meant "first wireless router".

You bought the cheap $30 one and what did you expect? You can't generalize about a company's line-up like that.

Dude, i have a TrendNet router (TEW-432BRP) i bought at CompUSA too almost 2 yrs ago that i'm still using and it's the best $25 i ever spent. Don't know what you did to yours, but TrendNets are great routers.

This looks very cool. I haven't been to DD-WRT's site in a while, but I could bet this dual-band Atheros chipset is supported, if so, I'm sold.

The D-Link DIR-825 and Linksys WRT610N are both simultaneous dual band (2.4ghz & 5ghz) routers as well. Always glad to see another entry into the fray, but I wasn't terribly impressed with an old trendnet router I had, so I tend to shy away.
The DIR-825 can regularly be found for $130, while the WRT610N is usually $150-160

I'm waiting for BuffaloTech to get their routers back in U.S. stores.

Trendnet Atheros based routers are getting good support from OpenWRT and the new Linux ath9k driver.

I bought one that looked just like this a year ago... around the last black friday. The only difference appears to be the 5GHz option on this one. I'm not sure if mine has the atheros. But it's an excellent router. Between all the D-Links and Netgears I've set up (and have usually died on me) this one was great. It's lasted a long time. So far I've been happy with every TrendNET product I've bought... with exception of the purple color they use to sport.
