Razer's Deathstalker Chroma keyboard

Razer has been decking out seemingly every gaming peripheral it makes with many-colored Chroma lighting, and there's no signs of that trend letting up any time soon. The company has rolled out Chroma versions of both its slim, laptop-like DeathStalker keyboard and its Orbweaver keypad, giving you even more ways to put on a light show while you play. Both let you pick from 16.8 million shades, including in multiple zones on the keyboard. As before, you can even sync colors and light patterns between other Chroma devices -- handy if you want to change the mood between games, or just show off at your next tournament. Just be prepared to pay for the pretty. Both Chroma devices are shipping very shortly, but you'll shell out $100 for the DeathStalker and $130 for its Orbweaver sibling.

'Error-Prone' in action

You've probably heard that self-driving cars are safer than their human-guided equivalents (as a general rule, at least). But what if you have a hard time wrapping your head around how that concept works in practice? Never fear: developers Mark Backler and Peter Cardwell-Gardner have posted a web game, Error-Prone, that teaches you about the perils of overcrowded roads and the virtues of autonomous vehicles. You're supposed to take control of one of the closely-packed cars circling in a loop, but doing so almost guarantees that you'll either slow everyone down or cause an accident. It's much like WarGames' nuclear battle, where the only way to win is not to play -- the sooner you realize that the computer is better at driving than you are, the sooner traffic calms down.

If you've been hankering for some powerful new Lumia hardware, feast your eyes on the first images of a prototype of Microsoft's upcoming flagship phone, courtesy of a (soon to be fired) leaker on the WPXAP forums. For the past few years, Microsoft has focused more on delivering mid-range and low-end Lumia devices, the few markets where Windows Phone has managed to find a foothold. But, based on current rumors, the company is expected to launch a new Lumia 950 flagship later this year, along with a Lumia 950 XL phablet. The above image gives us our closest look yet at one of the new devices (there's some debate as to whether it's the 5.2-inch 950 or the 5.7-inch 950 XL), and, well, it looks just like a Lumia design.

LeadOn:Watermark's Silicon Valley Conference For WomenIf the Ellen Pao case showed us anything, it's that Silicon Valley is still very much a (white) boy's club. In response a number of industry leaders including Apple, IBM, and Google, have pledged anywhere from $50 million to $300 million to boost the level of diversity in their workplaces. Intel is the latest firm to address the issue by doubling the referral bonus for any employee that successfully recruits a female, minority or veteran into the company to a whopping $4000. This is part of Intel's $300 million pledge to diversify its workforce.

After weeks of teasing, Lexus is finally showing off its latest Amazing in Motion project in full. The Slide video posted today shows skateboarders riding the company's superconducting hoverboard at a specially built skate park in Spain. Similar to the $10,000 Hendo hoverboard before it, this board only works if you have the combination of a liquid nitrogen cooled cryostat onboard and a special magnetic track, so no -- it's not for sale. As you can see in the video, skaters who got their crack at it pulled off some cool gliding tricks (including one across a stretch of water), but it's still not quite the same thing as the decks that they're used to, and seemed to have less control available than the Hendo board. Back to the Future it ain't, but it's real, and it's cool (-197°C).
