Jabra's introduced their BT620 Bluetooth stereo headset, which'll let you automatically switch from listening to
music to answering a phone call. If you're listening to music when a call comes in, the headset will just pause tunes
and give you the option to answer the call or ignore it. Also, the BT620s can connect to two devices, so you don't
necessairly need to have a cellphone with MP3 capabilities to use them. Jabra says they'll give you about 16 hours of
talk time or 14 hours of music streaming on a single charge (recharge time is about 2 hours). Retail price is $129.
Jabra also announced the BT325, BT160, and the JX10, all of which are Bluetooth devices and go for $99, $59, and $179
respectively.

Just when I was deciding to get the stereo Bluetooth HS 200 from Logitech, this comes along :S

Bluetooth stereo headsets look cool, but don't you need a device with the newer Bluetooth spec to use stereo over bluetooth?
And those devices are where? (other than a computer dongle)
Great, another cool portable product I can't use.

huzzah for logitech and jabra, it's about time they got something like this on the market. Until now the pickings were slim indeed!

Are the BT629s yet to be released? I can't seem to find them in their online store. I can find the JX10s but nothing else listed here for sale.

In response to #2: It's not like you can't rock it mono style, using current gen Bluetooth devices. And headsets like HS 200 has a dongle that converts 3.5mm plug to stereo Bluetooth.
But these things are aimed mainly at new and upcoming phones, and you ask those devices are where? They're coming to market right now. Personally, I'm thinking of getting a Nokia N80 and this would complement that phone perfectly.
So Agent M, don't knock a product on the basis that there's no current gen phones that support it. There's a laundry list of upcoming phones that should support this.

I would not recommend the Logitech version. I have tried two pairs of them, and both times they have broken (the plastic that goes around the back of your head snapped, as well as some weird electronic problem - both times!). I love logitech, I own their stock, great company, but I am moving on to Jabra. I need my wireless audio experience!!!
Plantronics 590 @ Jan 24th 2006 6:07PM
I would consider the Plantronics 590 instead. It has better sound.

Can two headsets be paired together and form an intercom?
